PCB for MasterPlex – Every Echoplex Preamp on a single board
The EchoPlex preamp is so renowned almost everyone has designed their own preamp/booster based on it.
This PCB takes every version I could find, The Madbean / EP Booster, The F.Briggs version, The Aion Electronics PCB and as much of the original circuit as possible, and smashes them together. By picking which parts to include you can build any single version of this you like, or mix and match values between versions and make it totally your own.
I have documented all the differences between versions on the schematic available here: MasterPlex Preamp Build Docs, and I have colour coded each version to make it easy to follow.
This is a small PCB but due to the amount of options it is an involved build requiring some reading, planning and following the schematics closely. There are more notes on the schematic than there is schematic. Many spaces on the PCB will require jumper leads instead of a component. For this reason it is not recommended for beginners.
