The world is on fire. Our cities are choked with diesel fumes. I am growing increasingly worried about the state of our planet and our long term survival.

However in the short term, I worry most about the impact our air quality has on our standard of living. It seems like a specific problem that we could move to make action on, without the huge shift in consciousness our society requires.

This requires convincing people to act. In order to get Local Governments on board with cleaning our air, I want to use off the shelf sensors to develop a small network of air quality stations, to collect data and hopefully use that data to motivate local government to act on the problem.
