Pan Galactic started off as a side project, building effects stompboxes for guitarists in my bedroom. Since then I have developed my skills in embedded systems utilising the Arduino Development Environment, making sensors report their findings with ESP32s and setting up basic web servers using Raspberry Pi’s

I Started my career in Technology as a Broadcast Engineer in 2011. I worked as an on-site RF Engineer for 9 years and worked many high profile events, including The London 2012 Olympics, The X-Games and The London Marathon. I have run RF cameras for several high profile artists including Florence & The Machine, and Brian May, and worked across countries and continents.

In 2017 I started studying towards an Engineering Degree from The Open University. Some projects may end up on here.

I currently work as an Electrical Specialist at an aerospace startup in Scotland. This work leaves little time to keep this site up to date, but I will try and post content when I am able to.
Since starting my employment there, I have implemented several projects using the Arduino Environment, including a power switching system for the safe remote-arming and disarming of onboard avionics and pyrotechnics systems of Sounding Rockets, and a Countdown Clock using Neopixels.

I aim to use this website to document some of the projects I work on, share some of my designs, code and instructables, and offer up finished items and parts in my shop.

I also offer PCB design & Fabrication services, Embedded Systems Design & Prototyping Services, contact for more info.
